What These Roles Involve
Preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions across civil construction scopes.
Reviewing and interpreting project documentation, drawings, and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates.
Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and assess pricing for civil packages.
Supporting bid strategy, risk identification, and value engineering during the tender phase.
Liaising with project, commercial, and design teams to ensure submissions are technically sound.
Managing multiple concurrent tenders and deadlines in a fast-paced estimating workplace.
Contributing to post-tender reviews and continuous improvement of estimating processes.
What You Can Bring
Proven experience as a Civil Estimator within a contracting environment — essential.
Background across energy infrastructure, defence, or commercial civil construction highly regarded.
Strong ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
Proficiency in estimating software and strong MS Excel capability.
Commercially astute with a solid understanding of subcontractor and supplier markets.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
Based in Adelaide or willing to relocate.
