Job Description

SCL Care Group is seeking an Administration Officer to join our Coffs Harbour team.
n
SCL Care Group is a family-run care organisation operating SCL Support Services, our NDIS disability support provider, and SCL Home Care, our growing in‐home aged care service.
n
Across the group, our focus is on providing compassionate, personalised support that enables people to maintain their independence, dignity and connection with their community.
n
About the Role
n
This is a group‐wide administration position supporting all areas of SCL Care Group.
n
You'll work closely with our management, operations, compliance and finance teams to support both our disability and aged care services.
n
We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in administration who can confidently manage day‐to‐day responsibilities while continuing to develop their skills and take on broader responsibilities over time.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide professional phone, email and reception support.
n
Maintain accurate client and employee records and documentation.
n
Assist with client onboarding, staff recruitment and onboarding, and compliance records.
n
Support rostering, scheduling and workforce coordination.
n
Assist with NDIS and aged care compliance, document control and audit preparation.
n
Prepare correspondence, forms, reports and meeting minutes.
n
Maintain information across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, ShiftCare and other systems.
n
Provide general administrative and basic finance support across SCL Care Group.
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who is organised, professional, approachable and confident with technology.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience in administration, office support or a similar role.
n
Experience in NDIS/disability and/or aged care/community services.
n
Strong organisation, time‐management and attention to detail.
n
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
n
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft 365 skills.
n
Confidence learning new systems and using technology, including AI.
n
Good initiative, problem‐solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
A professional approach to confidential and sensitive information.
n
n
Qualifications & Desirable Experience
n
n
Certificate III or IV in Business/Business Administration, or willingness to obtain.
n
Experience using ShiftCare or similar client management and rostering software.
n
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Xero or PayCat.
n
Knowledge of NDIS and/or aged care compliance requirements.
n
n
Employment Requirements
n
The successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain relevant employment and sector checks, which may include:
n
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
Working With Children Check.
n
Current Driver Licence.
n
Current First Aid and CPR.
n
Right to Work in Australia.
n
Relevant mandatory NDIS and aged care training.
n
n

Full‐time employment – 38 hours per week.

Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 7:00pm.
