About the Role
n
We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Building and Maintenance Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a premium residential apartment complex in Perth's CBD.
n
Working closely with the Senior Facilities Manager, you'll help ensure the property is maintained to a high standard, contractors are effectively managed, and residents receive exceptional service.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support the Senior Facilities Manager in overseeing building operations and responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
n
Assist in the management and coordination of service providers and maintenance contractors
n
Conduct routine building inspections and prepare detailed reports
n
Coordinate contractor inductions and ensure all works comply with WHS and site requirements
n




Monitor building systems and identify opportunities for preventative maintenance
n
Participate in an after-hours roster to attend emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance when required
n
Attending to minor maintenance and repairs
n
n
About You
n
You are a practical problem-solver who takes pride in maintaining high-quality facilities and delivering outstanding service.
n
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
2+ years' experience in a maintenance or similar role
n
A trade qualification or strong technical maintenance background
n
The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
n
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
n
Sound knowledge of workplace health, safety and environmental requirements
n
A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional service
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with contractors, residents and stakeholders
n
