About the Role
n
We're looking for an experienced Full-Time Practice Nurse Manager to lead the nursing team at our Riverway Medical Centre.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with the Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the treatment room, support and develop the nursing team, and ensure patients consistently receive high-quality clinical care.
n
You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of the medical centre as it enters its next stage of growth, innovation and development.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead, support and manage a team of nurses.
n
Oversee the efficient day-to-day operation of the treatment room.
n
Coach, train and mentor clinical staff to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
n
Coordinate staffing levels and workflows to meet the needs of the practice.
n
Deliver a range of clinical procedures and provide hands-on nursing support when required.
n
Assist GPs with health assessments, GP management plans and reviews.
n
Maintain high standards of clinical governance, safety and best-practice care.
n




Partner with the Practice Manager to understand operational performance and support the effective management of the practice.

About You
n
To succeed in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Demonstrated leadership or people-management experience.
n
Previous nursing experience in general practice, primary care or an acute clinical setting.
n
Solid organisational and time-management skills.
n
Excellent communication and patient-service skills.
n
A supportive leadership style and genuine passion for developing people.
n
The ability to balance clinical responsibilities with operational leadership.
n
