About the role
n
Upton House is a 25 bed Adult Psychiatric Unit in Box Hill.
n
As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will be a valued and team-oriented member of a multidisciplinary health care team. We are looking for someone who would bring ideas, enthusiasm, passion and an ethos of patient-centred care to the team. As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse at Upton House, you'll be accountable for coordinating and delivery safe and comprehensive patient-centred care.

You will work within your scope of practice and in alignment with the Eastern Health and Nursing and Midwifery Board Practice Standards.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Current registration with AHPRA
n
Patient centred and trauma informed practice
n
Passion for clinical excellence
n
Willingness to engage in clinical supervision and development
n
Resilience and strong commitment to high quality care
n
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
n
n
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
