Booking patient appointments and procedures

Liaising with hospital staff

Verifying Medicare and private health insurance details
n
Completing patient invoicing, Medicare, DVA and Eclipse claims
n
Following up rejected or delayed claims and unpaid invoices
n
Obtaining results and maintaining accurate patient records
n
Scanning and attaching documentation; managing incoming mail and emails
n
Facilitating communication between patients, the Specialist and staff
n
Maintaining strict confidentiality of patient, practice and financial information
n
Ensuring a high level of accuracy in all administrative and billing tasks
n
Key Responsibilities

Essential Criteria

Previous experience in medical rooms (highly recommended)
n
Experience using Xestro or similar medical software
n
