We're looking for physics experts to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models being developed by the world's leading AI research labs. Your deep understanding of physics will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems - from undergraduate fundamentals to graduate-level challenges.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for physics professionals and graduate students who want to contribute to meaningful, frontier AI work on their own schedule.

What You'll Do
n
n
Design rigorous, original physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more
n
Develop clear, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate precise logical reasoning
n
Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
n
Identify gaps, errors, and weaknesses in how AI models approach physics problems
n
Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level topics
n




Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are
n
n
Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
n
Solid problem-solving ability across multiple advanced physics domains
n
Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
n
Detail-oriented with a structured approach to evaluation and feedback
n
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
n
No prior AI experience required
n

Nice to Have

Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or academic assessment
n
Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts
n
Background in research, tutoring, or technical writing
