Job Description
n
Assist with the firm's ISQM 1 requirements.
n
Consult with engagement teams to ensure compliance with auditing standards and firm methodology.
n
Manage audit engagements by defining audit strategy and executing it in compliance with our policies and protocols.
n
Effectively manage the Audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters.
n
Lead and manage fieldwork on clients' sites including liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the Audit process.
n
Leverage your expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters.
n

Requirements
n
n
A degree and/or progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
n
Proven experience in professional practice roles and delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
n
Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
n
The ability to develop and maintain robust relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing value added recommendations.
n
Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management.
n
The ability to create a positive learning culture, and coach and counsel junior team members to help them to develop.
n
n
Core Competencies
n
Demonstrates expertise in managing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with ISQM 1 requirements, and applying accounting frameworks such as IFRS. Capable of fostering strong client relationships while leading and mentoring junior team members.
