Turosi is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our Broadmeadows Further Processing / Value-Add operation.
n
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll lead a large production team through your frontline leaders, driving operational performance across safety, quality, labour, yield and customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys developing people while delivering results.

About the Role
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Leading daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, service and cost targets.
n
Developing and coaching Area Managers, Supervisors and frontline leaders.
n
Driving improvements in OEE, yield, labour utilisation, waste reduction and overall plant performance.
n
Building capability and accountability across production teams.
n
Partnering closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain and HR.
n
Championing food safety, quality and compliance standards.
n
Leading continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.
n
Using operational data and production metrics to drive decision-making and performance.
n

About You




n
We're looking for a Production Manager who has successfully led large-scale manufacturing operations and can demonstrate measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity and team performance.
n
Experience within poultry, meat, protein, further processing, food manufacturing or FMCG will be highly regarded.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
Proven Production Manager experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
n
Experience leading large teams through supervisors and frontline leadership groups.
n
Strong understanding of OEE, labour productivity, yield, waste reduction and operational performance metrics.
n
Demonstrated success implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
n
A strong track record in safety, food safety and quality leadership.
n
The ability to coach, develop and build high-performing teams.
n
Strong commercial awareness and confidence using data to drive decisions.
n
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM or similar CI experience highly regarded.
n
