Due to continued growth and an exciting pipeline of securedand upcoming work, they are seeking an experienced and commercially mindedSenior Estimator to join their team and play a key role in securing anddelivering successful projects.

The Opportunity
n
Based in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, you will takeownership of the estimating and tendering process for a diverse range ofcommercial D&C;, fit-out and refurbishment projects valued between $500K and$15M.
n
Working closely with senior management,
clients,consultants,
project delivery teams, suppliers and subcontractors, you'll beresponsible for developing accurate and competitive tenders from initial reviewthrough to submission and successful project handover.
n
This is a key role within the business, offering genuineautonomy, exposure to negotiated and competitive tenders, and the opportunityto influence project strategy, procurement and commercial outcomes.

workplace,commercial,
retail, hospitality and refurbishment projects, with

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates,quantity take-offs and tender submissions for D&C;, commercial fit-out andrefurbishment projects.
n
Review architectural and consultant
drawings,specifications
and project documentation to establish project scope and
pricingrequirements.
n
Manage the estimating process from initialtender review through to submission.
n
Develop detailed scopes of work, trade packagesand procurement strategies.
n
Obtain, analyse and negotiate subcontractor andsupplier quotations.
n
Identify project risks,
exclusions,opportunities




and potential cost exposures.
n
Develop project budgets and contribute to tenderand commercial strategy.
n
Identify and implement value
engineeringopportunities
to improve project outcomes and competitiveness.
n
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractorsand suppliers throughout the tender process.
n
Assist with negotiations and
presentationsduring
the tender and pre-construction stages.
n
Provide clear and accurate tender handovers tothe project delivery team.
n
Maintain strong relationships with keysubcontractors, suppliers and industry partners.
n
Ensure tenders are accurate, commercially sound,compliant and submitted within required timeframes.
n
Contribute to the ongoing improvement ofestimating systems, processes and commercial practices.
n
Support junior estimators and contribute to thebroader estimating team's development where required.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
5+ years' experience in commercial
constructionestimating
in Australia.
n
Strong experience pricing D&C;, commercialfit-out and/or refurbishment projects.
n
Experience estimating projects valued between$5M and $15M+.
n
A strong understanding of
commercialconstruction
methodologies, D&C; processes and interior construction.
n
The ability to confidently
interpretarchitectural
drawings, specifications and consultant documentation.
n
Strong subcontractor and supplier networksacross the Sydney construction market.
n
Excellent commercial awareness, analyticalability and attention to detail.
n
Strong understanding of construction costs,procurement and subcontractor pricing.
n
Experience using EstimateOne or CostX and otherestimating software.
n
The ability to manage multiple tenders,priorities and competing deadlines.
n
A proactive,



commercially focused andsolutions-oriented approach.
n
The confidence and capability to take ownershipof tenders and make sound commercial decisions.
n
