About the Role
n
Design the System. Lead the Discipline. Build Operational Excellence.

We are seeking a strategic and operationally strong Warehouse Manager to lead and elevate our warehouse operations at our Huntingwood Head Office.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
Warehouse Strategy & Layout
n
n
Design and implement optimal warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation and minimise travel time
n
Develop slotting strategies aligned to product velocity and characteristics
n
Establish pick-face replenishment systems to ensure uninterrupted production supply
n
Design lean material flow that reduces handling and congestion
n




Plan future logistics and delivery infrastructure capability
n
n
Policy, Procedure & System Discipline
n
n
Develop and implement structured SOPs across receiving, put-away, picking, dispatch and cycle counting
n
Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded in the ERP system in real time
n
Establish performance KPIs and reporting frameworks
n
Drive strong system governance and eliminate manual or paper-based processes
n
n
Inventory Accuracy & Control
n
n
Take full accountability for inventory accuracy across all product lines
n
Achieve and maintain *****%+ inventory accuracy
n
Implement robust cycle counting and variance investigation procedures
n
Establish controls for high-value and controlled materials
n
Design stocktake processes that minimise operational disruption
n
n
Operational Excellence
n
n
Oversee inbound goods (including overseas shipments) and allocate materials efficiently
n
Align warehouse output with production schedules
n
Manage courier, freight and dispatch performance
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
n
Implement lean warehousing practices including 5S and visual management
n
n




Leadership & Safety
n
n
Lead, mentor and develop the warehouse team
n
Embed accountability, discipline and continuous improvement culture
n
Ensure full WHS compliance and safe work practices
n
Manage warehouse equipment and preventative maintenance programs
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
Essential:
n
n
7+ years' progressive warehouse or logistics management experience
n
Proven experience designing warehouse systems and implementing procedures
n
Strong ERP/WMS capability (Ostendo highly regarded)
n
Demonstrated success achieving 98%+ inventory accuracy
n
Strong leadership and team development capability
n
Analytical and problem-solving skills
n
LF Forklift Licence
n
Strong WHS knowledge
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Manufacturing or project-based environment experience
n
Lean / 5S implementation
n
Exposure to fleet or logistics planning
n
Formal qualifications in supply chain or operations
n
