We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality educational programs that support children's learning, development, safety and wellbeing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities The successful Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for: Planning and structuring learning activities that support children's physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.
Developing and implementing educational programs and activities appropriate to children's individual abilities, interests and developmental needs.
Using a variety of teaching methods, learning materials and educational resources to promote children's engagement and development.
Teaching fundamental concepts including language, literacy, numeracy, music, art, movement and other age-appropriate learning areas.
Encouraging children's language development and self-expression through storytelling, role play, songs, discussions, creative activities and other learning experiences.
Providing opportunities for children to develop coordination, confidence and physical skills through indoor and outdoor activities.




Promoting children's social development by encouraging cooperation, positive relationships, independence and appropriate behaviour.
Observing and assessing individual children to evaluate their learning, development, strengths and areas requiring additional support.
Identifying developmental, behavioural or learning concerns and discussing appropriate strategies with parents, carers and relevant professionals.
Maintaining records of children's learning, progress, development and educational participation.
Discussing children's progress and educational needs with parents and carers and providing appropriate information and guidance.
Supporting children to develop healthy routines and positive personal habits, including appropriate eating, hygiene and self-care practices.
Supervising children during learning activities, play and daily routines to maintain their safety and wellbeing.
Participating in meetings with parents, educators and other professionals regarding children's learning and development.
Working collaboratively with other educators and staff to plan and evaluate educational programs and learning experiences.
Maintaining qualified knowledge through ongoing learning, reflective practice and participation in professional development activities.
Delivering educational programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience Applicants must have:



A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education, or another ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification .
Relevant teacher registration/accreditation, or eligibility to obtain registration/accreditation, where required.
At least 1 year of experience is required.
A current Working with Children Check or relevant state-based child-safety clearance .
Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standard (NQS) .
Sound knowledge of child development, curriculum planning, observation, assessment and educational documentation.
Relevant practical experience in an early childhood education and care environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational, planning and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of an early childhood education team.
Salary and Employment Conditions The position offers a salary of $80,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation , commensurate with the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and relevant experience.
Employment conditions will be provided in accordance with applicable Australian workplace laws and relevant industrial requirements.
