About the Role Based in BYD's Mulgrave Office in Melbourne, the Vehicle Homologation Engineer is responsible for supporting the certification and regulatory compliance of BYD vehicles, components, and accessories for the Australian and Recent Zealand markets.




The role manages vehicle approval activities, technical documentation, regulatory submissions, and ongoing compliance requirements.
It works closely with BYD headquarters, government authorities, technical services, test facilities, and internal teams to support the timely and compliant introduction of new vehicles and product updates .
The role also monitors proposed and future vehicle regulations, participates in relevant government and industry discussions, and communicates upcoming regulatory requirements to the business and BYD headquarters.
