$90,000-$110,000 + Super | Sunday-Thursday PM Shift | Friday Saturday Off About the Opportunity Our client is a well-established Australian business with operations across the country, a strong family culture and a genuine focus on its people.
Their Cairns operation is looking for an experienced PM Warehouse Manager to lead the afternoon shift and keep a busy warehouse operation running safely, accurately and efficiently.
This is a role for a practical, people-focused leader who can build trust, set clear expectations and keep things moving when the pressure is on.
The operation processes approximately ******* tonnes of product each week, supplying customers across Cairns and Far North Queensland.
The Role You'll lead an experienced team of approximately 15 across the afternoon shift, with overall responsibility for the performance of the operation.
The team works well with a high level of autonomy, so we're looking for someone who can bring structure, direction and accountability while giving people the space to do their jobs well.
You'll take ownership of the performance of the shift, including: Leading and supporting the warehouse team Coordinating picking, workflow and labour requirements Monitoring productivity, order accuracy and shift completion Rostering and resource planning Supporting recruitment, onboarding and team development Managing handovers between PM and AM operations Supporting stock control,



receiving and stocktakes Maintaining strong WHS and safety standards Working closely with senior management Getting on the floor and supporting the team when required About You You'll ideally bring: Warehouse, logistics or operational leadership experience Experience leading teams in a fast-paced setting Strong planning and organisational skills A calm, practical and approachable leadership style Strong communication and people leadership skills Sound WHS knowledge A current High-Risk Forklift Licence Confidence using warehouse, rostering and reporting systems, with the ability to learn new technology Fresh produce experience is desirable but not essential.
Candidates from warehousing, logistics, FMCG, food distribution, transport and similar environments are encouraged to apply.
The Roster Sunday to Thursday, generally starting between 12:00pm and 2:00pm and finishing between 8:30pm and 9:30pm, depending on operational requirements.
That means Friday and Saturday off every week.
