The Team Role The Senior Mental Health Clinician, as a member of the multidisciplinary team, provides timely and responsive mental health assessment and treatment to people who require urgent mental health assessment, treatment and support.
The MHCL team provide face-to-face assessment, treatment and planning with Emergency Department and the General Hospital.
The Clinician works completely within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence based person centred care to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Skills Experience Required We anticipate you will have: Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration.
Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience.
Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Mental Health Wellbeing Act **** and the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards including EQuIP and National Safety and Quality Health Services Standards.
