Job Title - Task Title: Geospatial Collection Systems - Engineering services Job Id - ******* Security Clearance: TSPV Clearance Length of Contract: 36 with 2 x 12 months extension possibility The role closes on 27/08/2026 Location: Brindabella Business Park, ACT Skills and experience sought: Qualified memberships and/or tertiary qualifications in engineering; Experience in delivering Defence projects; General understanding of the domestic and international geospatial and intelligence landscape including awareness of emerging geospatial technologies such as space systems, artificial intelligence and advanced data capabilities; Strong communication skills to discuss and document technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; and SFIA Skills Sought: The planning, implementation and control of activities to integrate/build components, subsystems and interfaces to create operational systems, products or services for delivery to customers, or for internal or interim purposes such as testing.




The development of organisational capabilities for systems integration and build including automation and continuous integration.
SINT Level 4: Provides technical expertise to enable the configuration of software, other system components and equipment for systems testing.
Collaborates with technical teams to develop and agree system integration plans and report on progress.
Defines complex/new integration builds.
Ensures that integration test environments are correctly configured.
Designs, performs and reports results of tests of the integration build.
Identifies and documents system integration components for recording in the configuration management system.
Recommends and implements improvements to processes and tools.
