ABOUT THE COMPANY Australia Wintime Energy Pty Ltd is an Australian business operating in the energy and resources sector and forms part of an international group headquartered in China.
We work closely with our parent company and local professional advisers to support the Group's operations and projects across Australia.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Brisbane office and take responsibility for the management, coordination and oversight of the company's finance and accounting activities.
ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the senior management team, the Finance Manager will be responsible for planning, managing and overseeing the company's financial and accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, compliance, accounting systems and internal controls.
The Finance Manager will provide financial information, analysis and advice to senior management to support business planning and decision-making and will monitor the company's financial performance, cash flow and funding requirements.
The role will also act as a key financial liaison between the Australian operations and the China-based parent company, coordinating financial reporting, budgeting and other financial information in accordance with Group reporting requirements and deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Finance Manager's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: · Managing and overseeing the company's financial and accounting operations and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial information; · Directing and overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and financial forecasts; · Developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing budgets, forecasts and financial plans in consultation with senior management; · Monitoring financial performance, expenditure, cash flow and budget variances, and providing financial analysis and advice to senior management on their implications for business performance and funding requirements; · Preparing and coordinating financial reports, budgets, forecasts and supporting financial information required by the China-based parent company; · Developing, implementing,



monitoring and reviewing appropriate financial and accounting policies, procedures and internal controls; · Coordinating the implementation, maintenance and ongoing review of accounting and financial reporting systems to support accurate, timely and reliable financial information; · Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliation processes and ensuring appropriate financial controls are maintained; · Managing cash flow, assessing the company's funding requirements and sources of funds, and providing financial advice to senior management on the allocation of financial resources and investment-related financial matters; · Assessing the financial implications of capital expenditure proposals and operational projects and providing financial analysis and recommendations to senior management; · Ensuring compliance with applicable Australian taxation, financial reporting, ASIC and other statutory and regulatory requirements; · Coordinating with external accountants, auditors, tax advisers, banks and other professional service providers; and · Supporting senior management with financial planning, longer-term forecasting and other financial matters relevant to the company's Australian operations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR · A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in accounting, finance, commerce or a related field; · At least two years of relevant accounting or financial management experience; · Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial analysis,including managing or overseeing accounting processes, financial controls and financial reporting systems; · Practical experience with financial reporting relevant to a China-based corporate group, including preparing and coordinating reports,



budgets and forecasts for a China-based parent company; · Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to prepare and communicate financial information in both languages to Australian and overseas stakeholders; · Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, with experience using accounting systems; · Solid analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict reporting deadlines; · A high level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential financial and commercial information; · The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior management, Australian advisers and overseas stakeholders.

LOCATION This is primarily an office-based position located in Brisbane, Queensland.
The successful candidate may occasionally be required to attend meetings or travel for business purposes.
