We are currently seeking a Lawyer, with up to 1-3 years PAE, to join our Corporate Health, Aged Care Retirement Living team in our Brisbane office Thomsons is a leading national law firm with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra.

The role We are currently seeking a Lawyer, with up to 1-3 years PAE, to join our Corporate Health, Aged Care Retirement Living team in our Brisbane office.
This position will report to and work directly with partners who specialise in the health, aged care, and retirement village industries.
This role will suit an experienced lawyer with a particular interest in these sectors and with experience in corporate advisory, transactions or disputes, preferably for clients in highly regulated sectors.
Requirements We're looking for a candidate with the ability and confidence to work directly and independently with top quality clients.
You will be a solutions-focused, commercially astute and well-rounded lawyer.
During your career you will have developed strong technical skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication and organisational skills.
You will also have solid analytical and drafting skills, and demonstrate a commitment to building strong client relationships and helping to drive the growth of a practice.

and enjoy working in a collegial workplace.

The successful candidate will Have experience providing advice for clients in highly regulated industries; Have a genuine interest in the health, aged care and retirement living sectors; Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work directly with clients; Demonstrate initiative and proactivity, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the team; Demonstrate strong attention to detail, a client service orientation and an enthusiastic approach to your work; Possess excellent time management and organisational skills; Have a proficiency using FileSite or a similar document management system.
