YOUR NEW EMPLOYER Our client is an industry-leading elite specialist property/litigation firm with 40+ years' success with an enviable reputation thriving strata law practice [an exponentially growing SPOT 'niche'] YOUR ROLE Reporting to an industry-leading Partner with an impressive track record , you will relish the challenge and mentorship in providing top quality innovative advice to high-end clients in the strata/community title industry (body corporates, community schemes, owners corporations/unit holders, strata managers, property owners, and developers ) including: Drafting/advising on strata law issues (eg by-laws, strata property development, building defects, strata/community/building management agreements, leases, licences); Dispute resolution/litigation (relating to strata/by-laws issues, building defects, levy debt collection and insolvency) including appearances at specialist tribunals (eg NCAT) and courts and attending mediations/hearings.
Flexibility to tailor-make the role to weigh more heavily on either transactions or litigation (subject to your experience/interest).

WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: Admission as a Lawyer in Australia with a current practising certificate in NSW (or eligible).
Are EITHER a transactional PROPERTY AND/OR LITIGATION solicitor [property/strata/commercial/construction disputes] with 2-10+years' experience ( minimum 1 year post-admission ).
(Essential) have had some experience with strata issues and/or acted for strata industry clients; Preferably experience in NCAT disputes, Supreme Court /tribunal litigation; Have strong legal drafting, negotiation, mediation/advocacy skills and ability to work in a quick-paced environment; have a genuine keen interest in strata/community title law and looking to specialize/deepen your experience in this exciting fast-growing area of law working with the best of the best industry leaders.
