Ready Resources is seeking skilled HRT Mechanics to join a leading mining operation in Western Australia on a 2:1 FIFO roster , with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time position for the right candidate.

The Opportunity Reporting to the Supervisor, you'll be part of the Site Support Services team responsible for the servicing, repair, diagnostics and maintenance of a diverse fleet of Heavy Road Transport and mobile equipment, including prime movers, side tippers, tri-axle trailers, heavy rigid trucks, graders, loaders, forklifts, skid steers, elevated work platforms (EWPs), and other civil and mobile equipment as required.
This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a wide range of equipment while working in a fast-paced mining environment.

Conduct fault finding using diagnostic software and testing equipment.
Complete inspections and preventative maintenance.
Accurately complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
Maintain a strong commitment to safety and site procedures.
Work effectively within a high-performing maintenance team.
Essential Requirements Australian Recognised Heavy Vehicle Trade Certificate (Heavy Commercial Vehicle or equivalent) Proven Heavy Road Transport experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Current Australian Driver's License (HR License highly regarded).
Ability to work safely in a FIFO mining environment.
Highly Regarded Candidates with the following qualifications and tickets will be highly regarded: Forklift Licence (LF) Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Automotive Air Conditioning Licence Working at Heights (WAH) Confined Space Gas Test Atmospheres White Card High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) Mine site experience Experience on heavy road transport such as Kenworth, Volvo, Mack, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, or Freightliner trucks If you're ready to take the challenge, apply now and take the next step in your Heavy Road Transport career!
