Job description Are you an experienced infrastructure professional with strong project delivery, property and commercial lease management expertise?
Troocoo is seeking a Principal Project Officer – Infrastructure to lead the delivery of infrastructure, accommodation and asset initiatives across a state-wide portfolio.
About the role This is a senior opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded infrastructure professional who can provide authoritative advice, manage complex projects and build strong relationships across government and external stakeholders.
You will be responsible for: Leading the negotiation and management of commercial and non-office leases and licence agreements, including landlord obligations, property governance and compliance.
Providing high-level advice on legislation, standards, policies and frameworks relating to accommodation infrastructure.
Leading the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects and programs, including contractors, construction and fit-out, budgets, schedules, risks, stakeholders and project close-out.
Developing infrastructure and accommodation strategies through data analysis, evaluation and continuous improvement to drive efficiencies.
Developing and implementing infrastructure and asset policies, procedures, standards, tools and templates, including WHS requirements.
Building productive relationships with internal stakeholders, service providers and other government agencies, including DHPW/QBuild.
Preparing high-quality briefings, project plans, reports, strategies, policies and correspondence for senior audiences.
Providing leadership, direction and support to team members to ensure projects and services are delivered efficiently and sustainably.
About you: You will be an experienced infrastructure or property professional with demonstrated experience across project delivery, commercial property/lease management and asset strategy.
You will have strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to provide clear, strategic advice to senior leaders.
Experience working within Queensland Government or a similarly complex public-sector setting will be highly regarded.

Occasional regional travel and after-hours/weekend work may be required, particularly during office or staff relocations, with applicable entitlements provided.
