Finance Manager | Short Term Contract North Sydney | Immediate Start | Financial Services | Office Based (5 Days) About the Role An established financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join on a short term contract basis.
This is a hands on role suited to a Finance Manager or Financial Controller who can hit the ground running with minimal handover.
You will take ownership across financial control, reporting and day to day finance operations while leading a small finance team.
The role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, cash flow, statutory and regulatory requirements, reconciliations and finance process improvement.
Key Responsibilities * Take ownership of day to day financial control and accounting operations * Lead and support a small finance team * Oversee AP and AR functions * Manage cash flow and liquidity * Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and reconciliations * Manage month end close and management reporting * Review reporting across multiple entities and securitisation vehicles * Support tax,



statutory and regulatory reporting requirements * Assist with ASIC and APRA reporting * Support annual financial statements and external audit * Provide technical accounting and financial control guidance * Identify and resolve accounting and process issues * Maintain solid financial controls and reporting accuracy * Support finance projects and process improvements About You * Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller * Available to commence immediately or at very short notice * Strong financial control and month end reporting experience * Financial services experience strongly preferred * Experience managing or mentoring finance staff * Strong general ledger and reconciliation skills * Comfortable working hands on and getting into the detail * Understanding of statutory and regulatory reporting * CA or CPA qualification preferred * MYOB experience advantageous * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills * Able to quickly understand a business and operate independently Why Apply?
