Job Title - Task Title: Geospatial Collection Systems - Engineering services Job Id: ******* Security Clearance: TSPV Clearance Length of Contract: 36 with 2 x 12 months extension possibility The role closes on 27/08/2026 Location: Brindabella Business Park, ACT Skills and experience sought: Professional memberships and/or tertiary qualifications in engineering; Experience in delivering Defence projects; General understanding of the domestic and international geospatial and intelligence landscape including awareness of emerging geospatial technologies such as space systems, artificial intelligence and advanced data capabilities; Strong communication skills to discuss and document technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; SFIA Skills Sought: The planning, implementation and control of activities to integrate/build components, subsystems and interfaces to create operational systems, products or services for delivery to customers, or for internal or interim purposes such as testing.




The development of organisational capabilities for systems integration and build including automation and continuous integration.
SINT Level 3: Defines the software modules needed for an integration build and produces a build definition for each generation of the software.
Accepts completed software modules, ensuring that they meet defined criteria.
Produces software builds from software source code for loading onto target hardware.
Configures the hardware and software setting as required by the system being integrated.
Produces integration test specifications, conducts tests and records and reports on outcomes.
Diagnoses faults and records and reports on the results of tests.
Produces system integration reports.
