Key Responsibilities
n
Develop and execute comprehensive data migration test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
n
Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of the data reconciliation framework, including defining reconciliation rules, validation logic, automated comparison processes, and reporting to support migration testing.
n
Validate data migrated from SQL Server to PostgreSQL using source-to-target mapping documentation.
n
Perform data reconciliation, including row counts, field-level validation, referential integrity checks, and exception analysis.
n
Verify data type conversions, transformations, business rules, and default values.
n
Execute functional, system integration, regression, and performance testing related to the migration.
n
Identify, document, track, and retest defects through to resolution.
n
Collaborate with IICS developers, database administrators, business analysts, and business stakeholders to resolve data quality issues.
n
Create and execute SQL queries against SQL Server and PostgreSQL to validate migration results.
n
Produce reconciliation reports and testing evidence to support project governance and audit requirements.
n
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing data validation and defect analysis.
n
Participate in migration rehearsals, cutover activities, and post-migration verification.
n
Ensure testing activities align with project timelines, quality standards, and governance requirements.

Successful validation of all migrated data against defined business and technical requirements.
n
Accurate reconciliation of source and target data within agreed tolerances.

Delivery of a reusable and maintainable data reconciliation framework to support migration testing and future migration activities.

Timely identification and resolution of migration defects.
n
Successful completion of migration testing within project timelines.
n
Business stakeholder approval of migration outcomes prior to production deployment.
n
Required Skills and Experience
n
Experience testing data migration or ETL projects.
n
Solid SQL skills with experience querying and validating data in Microsoft SQL Server.
n
Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
n
Experience using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or other ETL/data integration tools.
n
Experience designing or contributing to automated data reconciliation and validation frameworks.
n
Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and data quality principles.
n
Experience creating test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
n
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
n
Experience using defect and test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
n
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
n
Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
