Join the passionate team at Southpaws as we expand our 24-hour dedicated emergency pet hospital in Malvern East. We recognise that emergencies don't adhere to a schedule, and that's why we're eager to welcome skilled Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Veterinarians to our dynamic team.

Our emergency hospital operates 24/7, 365 days a year, offering our ECC Veterinarians the chance to make a significant impact during critical moments in a pet's life.

Whether you're experienced or a recent graduate eager to specialize in ECC, we invite all passionate veterinarians to join us.
n
We support ongoing clinical skill development and exposure to specialist facilities, technology, procedures, and training.

50% Days and 50% Nights

1:3 weekend overnights

Structured role promoting work-life balance and professional growth

Rostered training with senior team exposure

Bi-weekly didactic sessions (Journal club, presentations, lectures)

Salary from $150k p.a. plus Super (for MANZCVS holders or eligible clinicians)

Support for MANZCVS enrollment and exams

4 Weeks Annual Leave + 1 Week Study Leave

Requirements
n
Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc), or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience, and be eligible to practice in VIC, Australia. Southpaws is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity.
