Global Vision Recruitment on behalf of Jade Biviano Family Pty Ltd trading as Biviano Direct Date Posted: August 04, **** Position: IT Support and Test Engineer Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per annum plus superannuation Hours: 38 hours per week Employment Type: Full time, Permanent Location: Thornbury VIC **** Experience required: Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role Jade Biviano Family Pty Ltd trading as Biviano Direct is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time IT Support and Test Engineer to provide technical expertise, maintain IT infrastructure, improve system performance, and diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues. Key Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor the integrity, availability and performance of hardware, servers, systems and critical processes, and review system and application logs.
n
Perform regular security monitoring to identify and respond to potential security threats.
n
Manage daily backup operations and ensure successful recovery and off-site storage of backup media.
n
Perform file archiving and data purging in accordance with organisational requirements.
n
Create, modify and delete user accounts as requested.
n
Provide IT support by investigating, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
n
Repair and recover hardware and software failures while coordinating with affected stakeholders.
n
Perform system testing,



upgrades and maintenance of administrative tools and utilities, and configure new services where required.
n
Review and assess systems architecture and recommend hardware and software improvements.
n
Install, configure and maintain system software and operational procedures.
n
Prepare periodic performance reports to support capacity planning.
n
Optimise system performance through hardware upgrades and resource allocation.
n
Maintain data centre environmental and monitoring equipment.
n
Test database systems and upgrades, including debugging, tracking, logging and resolving issues in accordance with approved testing procedures.
n
Liaise with vendors, suppliers and service providers regarding IT security solutions and service delivery.
n
Monitor network performance to ensure all system components operate effectively.
n
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational manuals, reports and maintenance records.

Qualifications and Experience
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
n
Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
n
