HR Manager

Build the people and culture of one of Western Sydney's leading Clubs. Club Blacktown is seeking a motivated HR Manager to establish and lead our Human Resources function.
n
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this newly created leadership role will oversee the full employee lifecycle while partnering with the management team to build a positive workplace culture, ensure legislative compliance and support the ongoing growth and development of our people.

About the Role
n
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with leaders across the Club to attract, develop and retain great people while driving continuous improvement in our HR practices.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and develop the Club's HR function.
n
Review and maintain HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
n
Manage recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
n
Drive employee engagement, retention and recognition initiatives.
n
Provide HR advice and support to managers and staff.
n
Coordinate performance reviews, training and leadership development.
n
Ensure compliance with Fair Work, WHS and employment legislation.
n
Support workers compensation, return to work and psychosocial risk initiatives.
n
Manage employee records, uniforms, security access and HR administration.
n
Prepare HR reporting and support continuous improvement projects
n

About You
n
You will bring:
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role.
n




Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
n
Strong knowledge of Fair Work legislation, employment law and the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award.
n
Excellent recruitment, employee relations and communication skills.
n
A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
n
Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and maintaining HR policies, procedures and best practice frameworks.
n
Exceptional organisational, time management and prioritisation skills, with strong report writing and written communication abilities.
n
Experience within hospitality or the Registered Club industry will be highly regarded.
n
