This is the hiring for a sister company of Ape Capital - Carmichael Partners. Carmichael focuses on commercial non-bank financing, and is a pioneer in private credit space. The firm arranges finances for mid-sized development projects and other commercial finances. We are bringing many institutional-grade products to the mid-market private credit, namely LBO/MBO financing to small businesses and buyout transactions. We're heading into the direction of becoming a full-services capital markets & corporate advisory boutique.

Role Description:
n
The Business Development Manager / Transaction Origination Analyst will be responsible for originating commercial non-bank loans. The candidate can expect tremendous professional growth with uncapped commission, alongside professional support for loan origination & business development, as long as future work at Carmichael as the firm grows and expands. The growth is not limited to DCM/Private Credit and Asset-backed Lending but also expands to Corporate Advisory and other domains of capital markets. The role starts out as commission-only contractor and will move into a salaries-with-commission structure once probation lapses and candidate hits KPIs.

Qualifications
n
n
Robust business development and sales skills, including prospecting, relationship management, and pipeline management (e.g. follow up, transaction support, due diligence, etc.).
n
Ideally have existing clients book, or has a strong sales instinct - sourcing deals and clients in different domains (e.g. social media,



conferences, etc.).
n
Strong cold calling and closing skills, database will be provided on top of your organic origination effort.
n
Basic understanding of capital markets and private credit/lending.
n
Highly organised and self-motivated. Entrepreneurial, have a strategic mind and strong business acumen to explore new market segments. Have the ability to drive your own initiatives.

Help senior managers with managing doc packs for borrowers and loan applications.

Nice-to-have

Prior experience in corporate banking, investment banking (DCM), leveraged finance, commercial banking, lending and credit is highly beneficial.

Remunerations & Perks
n
n
Above-market compensation structure: 3 months probation on commission-only structure, and subsequently move to contractor-base-salaries plus commission once passed probation.
n
Performing candidates can expect OTE equivalent to Wall Street's compensation.
