We are working with a highly regarded mid-sized commercial law firm in Melbourne seeking an experienced Property Associate to join its established Property team.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, high performing practice where you will work closely with respected senior practitioners on a broad range of property and development matters. The role offers a balance of autonomy and support; you will be trusted to run matters while working closely with senior lawyers who provide guidance where needed.

Typical work includes:
n
n
Property acquisitions and disposals
n
Residential, retail, industrial and mixed-use developments
n
Subdivisions and large scale residential projects
n
Joint ventures and development arrangements
n
Option and off-the-plan agreements
n
Project and property management agreements
n
Owners corporation structuring and advice
n
Planning agreements
n
Tenders and expressions of interest
n
Leasing transactions
n
GST, stamp duty and broader property advisory work
n
n
You will be involved across the full lifecycle of transactions and gain exposure to complex, high value development work for long standing clients.
n
We are seeking a Property Lawyer with:
n
n




3-5 years post admission experience in property law
n
Strong exposure to property development or commercial property matters
n
Confidence managing files with appropriate support
n
A commercial, practical approach to legal work
n
Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
n
A genuine interest in building a long term career in property law
n
n
