Optical Dispenser (Max Term 12 Months) — Lithgow

Join our Lithgow Eye Care Centre and help deliver exceptional eye care and customer service to our valued members. This is a full-time, maximum-term 12-month opportunity offering a 35-hour working week and five weeks' annual leave.

Responsibilities include:
n

Member Eye Care Services:Provide qualified assistance to members with their eye care needs, ensuring a positive and personalised experience
n
Optical
Dispensing:Interpret
prescriptions and dispense eyewear solutions that align with members' lifestyle and vision requirements.
n
Product Sales & Advice: Assist members in selecting frames, lenses, contact lenses, sunglasses and accessories, providing expert product recommendations.
n
Appointment Coordination: Schedule appointments and maintain accurate booking records to support efficient clinic operations.
n
Customer Service Excellence:Deliver outstanding service through every interaction, building strong relationships with members and colleagues.

What you'll bring
n

We're looking for someone with a positive, member-focused attitude and the skills or experience to excel in a customer-facing healthcare environment:
n




Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or experience as an Optical Dispenser (desirable).
n
Experience in optical, retail or pharmacy environments.
n
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
n
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
n
Ability to demonstrate empathy, initiative and professionalism.
n
Competency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
n
5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading.
