Atlantic Container Line Australia is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales/Business Development Manager to join our team in Broadmeadows, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence within the container logistics and shipping industry. As Sales/BDM, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and nurturing existing client relationships to achieve ambitious sales targets. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the company's growth trajectory whilst working within a fast-paced, professional setting.

Key responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the container shipping and logistics sector, developing a robust sales pipeline
n
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and market trends
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
n
Develop and present tailored solutions and proposals to prospective clients that address their specific business needs
n
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to secure new business whilst maintaining profitability
n
Collaborate with internal teams including operations, finance and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
n
Track and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline status and forecasting to management
n
Represent Atlantic Container Line Australia at industry events, exhibitions and networking functions to raise brand awareness
n
Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, ideally within the shipping, logistics, transport or related industry
n
Strong understanding of the container shipping industry,



import/export processes, and logistics operations
n
Excellent consultative selling skills with the ability to identify client needs and provide strategic solutions
n
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
n
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-oriented mindset
n
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools to manage pipelines and track performance
n
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
n
Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, logistics or a related field is desirable
n
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required
n
