The Opportunity
n
We are looking for an experienced External Scheduling Manager to lead supplier scheduling activities and ensure the successful delivery of material and components to support customer demand.
n
This role is responsible for managing the External Scheduling process, developing detailed supplier schedules, and driving supplier performance to achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will proactively manage risks, develop recovery plans, and ensure supply chain continuity across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage the External Scheduling process for assigned suppliers.
n
Develop and maintain detailed supplier schedules in line with customer demand.
n
Drive supplier performance against OTD targets and service level expectations.
n
Collaborate with suppliers to identify delivery risks and implement recovery plans.
n
Monitor supplier capacity and performance to support production requirements.
n
Escalate issues and risks appropriately and in a timely manner.
n
Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
n
Analyse supply chain performance data and develop improvement actions.
n
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.
n
Lead and develop team members to achieve business objectives.

Supply Chain experience within a manufacturing environment

Strong supplier management experience
n
MRP2 process knowledge
n
ERP systems and Supplier Portal experience

Ability to lead and develop a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

Experience managing delivery performance and recovery plans

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and supply chain systems

APICS CPIM qualification
