We're on the lookout for a talented Sous Chef / Baker to take ownership of our in-house bakery operation, crafting everything from scratch and leading a team to deliver exceptional quality every single day.

$85,000 + 12% Super

Mainly Monday to Friday, some nights and weekends required

High volume, providing 5 star guest experience across all touch points

THE POSITION
n

Produce all house-made breads and baked goods from scratch
n
Lead, train and inspire a small team
n
Ensure consistency, quality and efficiency in high-volume production
n
Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development and innovation
n
Maintain top-tier food safety, allergen, and quality standards
n
Drive organisation, workflow, and daily bakery operations
n

THE PERSON
n
n
You're a skilled baker and natural leader who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in quality craftsmanship.
n




Minimum 3 years' professional baking experience
n
Cert III in Baking (essential) or Cert III in Commercial Cookery and above
n
Confident producing a wide range of artisan breads and baked goods
n
Proven ability to lead a team and set standards
n
Highly organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
n
Passion for quality, consistency, and continuous improvement
n
