We're looking for an experienced Processing Superintendent or someone looking for a step up in their career from a Supervisory position to join our Processing Team in the near future.
n
This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our processing operation alongside maintenance and metallurgy.
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
Leading a team of 4 shift supervisors plus a gold room supervisor and utility crew
n
Setting expectations and building a crew that can run the plant safely and consistently
n
Leading day-to-day operations of our processing operation
n
Coordinating operational tasks during shutdowns and keeping the plant running in normal operation
n
Pushing improvements to increase safety and/or operational efficiency.
n
Understanding plant issues and coming up with solutions with the people involved
n




Being part of the planning and execution of plant upgrades and shutdowns
n
Providing input into the annual Capital and Operational budget process
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
A strong commitment to safety and training
n
Tertiary qualifications in metallurgy, chemical engineering or a related field preferred
n
Experience in gold processing operations
n
Strong knowledge of processing circuits and equipment, including troubleshooting and optimisation.
n
A background leading teams at supervisor or superintendent level
n
A clear understanding of throughput, recovery and plant availability
n
Experience working with maintenance personnel on shutdowns and upgrade workli>
n
Confidence managing tailings and working within site environmental requirements
n
A leadership style that holds people accountable and maintains expected standards
n
Prior experience with an operation involving heavy mobile machinery (forklifts, loaders, skid steer, excavators) is desirable
n
Strong time management and problem-solving skills
n
Solid skills across the Microsoft Suite
n
