We are currently seeking 2-3 enthusiastic Florists / Floral Wrappers to join our client's in-store floral team at West End, Brisbane.
n
Our client is a market leader in wholesale fresh flowers and potted products, supplying beautiful floral products to major retailers across Australia.
n
This is initially a 4-week assignment with potential for extension. The team will be providing coverage across all 7 days of the week. The weekly roster will be shared between the successful candidates.
n
About the Role
n
As a Floral Wrapper, you will play a key role in maintaining an attractive and well-presented floral display while assisting customers with bouquet wrapping and providing valuable feedback.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Wrap bouquets for customers in a professional and attractive manner
n
Maintain a tidy, full, and visually appealing floral display
n
Replenish stock and ensure displays remain well-presented throughout the day
n
Capture images of displays as required
n
Checking flowers and plants for quality and freshness
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy working with flowers and interacting with customers.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n




Excellent customer service and communication skills
n
Previous experience in floristry is essential
n
A creative eye and strong attention to presentation
n
Good time management and organisational skills
n
The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work area
n
A reliable and flexible approach to rostered work
n
n
The in store wrappers team operates 7 days per week, with shifts shared across a team of 2-3 florists.
n
Typical shifts are expected to be approximately 8:00am to 4:00pm, however start and finish times may vary depending on operational requirements.
n
We're therefore looking for candidates who can offer flexibility across weekdays and weekends.
n
You won't necessarily work every day - the roster will be divided across the team to provide consistent seven-day coverage.
