Skills Required:
n
n
Own transport to travel to clients homes (can travel up to ***** minutes)
n
Qualification (Cert III or IV in Aged Care/Individual Support or Disability) or Nursing students
n
Strong empathy and compassion towards others
n
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
Cleaning experience, reliable and attention to detail
n
Ability to remain calm under pressure
n
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the social care industry
n
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their daily activities, such as personal care, cleaning, cooking,



laundry, social support and assisting with shopping and appointments
n
Provide direct assistance to clients with home duties and possible personal care
n
Assist clients with maintaining a clean-living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
n
Promote independence among clients by encouraging them to participate in activities that enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.
n
Establish positive relationships with clients through effective communication, active listening, and understanding their individual needs.
n
Maintain accurate records of client interactions including observations made during visits or shifts.
n
Report any changes or concerns regarding the client's health or well-being
n
Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations related to social care practices.
n

Qualifications:
n
n
A valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable registered vehicle and insurance
n
Australian Federal Police Check (or willing to obtain one)
n
First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred
n
Qualification - Cert III or IV Individual Support or Aged Care or Disability (Nursing students please apply)
