MACHINE OPERATOR - FOOD PRODUCTION - TAREN POINT

Labourpower is currently recruiting for 10 experienced machine operators to join a National Food Manufacturing plant in Taren Point. This is an ongoing opportunity working in a fast-paced food production workplace. The role will involve operating and monitoring production machinery, along with packaging and generally production duties.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS
n
Afternoon: 3:30pm - 11:30pm
n
Night: 11:30pm-7:30pm
n
To be successful for this role you will need:
n
n
Previous machine operating experience, preferably within manufacturing or food production
n
Food manufacturing experience preferred, but not essential
n
Experience in production and fast-paced physical environments
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
Good understanding of workplace safety and quality requirements
n
Excellent reliability and punctuality
n

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
n
n
Operating and monitoring food production machinery
n
Monitoring machines to ensure they are running efficiently and report any faults
n
Operating production equipment and following production specifications
n
Packing finished products accurately into cartons
n
Fast-paced packaging and labelling
n
Completing production paperwork as required
n
Following food safety, GMP and workplace safety procedures
n
Maintain a clean and organised production area
n
Working as part of a team while also being able to work autonomously
n
