Junior Radiation Engineer
Employment Type: Ongoing, Full Time Role - 80 Hours per Fortnight
Salary: $ 83,163 - $ 86,928 per annum + Super + Salary Packaging

A career opportunity exists for a Trainee Electronics Engineer to become part of a highly skilled team providing 3D printing production and technical support for Peter Mac's Radiotherapy equipment including Linear Accelerators and CT Scanners at the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Melbourne and our centres in Moorabbin, Box Hill, Bendigo and Sunshine.
The successful applicant will be required to participate in a roster system which includes some weekend and shift work.
There will be the opportunity to take part in ongoing hands‐on‐training and mentoring with the experienced Radiation Engineering team.
Applicants should have a Diploma or higher qualification in Electronic Engineering coupled with good mechanical aptitude and 3D printing skills, experience in programming and CAD is desirable.
A Victorian driver's licence is required.

Key Accountabilities
Participate in the 3D print manufacturing process
3D Print Radiotherapy devices following the correct process, with timely communication to key stakeholders and logistic requirements.
Assist with the maintenance of PeterMac Radiotherapy treatment Systems to provide optimum treatment availability
With the support from a Senior Engineer provide a timely response to system faults
Maintain equipment to obtain maximum serviceable life
Under the guidance of a Senior Engineer take part in planned preventative maintenance and other allocated work in a timely and thorough manner
Contribute to the Radiation Engineering maintenance reports and database
Keep documentation and databases up to date
Maintain stock level
Update ordering lists for parts and consumables maintaining minimum stock levels
