About the Opportunity
As a Team Leader Housekeeping you will lead the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality environment for residents, visitors, and team members.
You will play a key role in maintaining exceptional cleaning and laundry standards while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and Australian Standards for Laundry and Cleaning Practices.
Working closely with residents, staff, and stakeholders, you will drive service excellence, support continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a positive and safety-focused team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and support the daily activities of the housekeeping and laundry team.
Ensure all cleaning and laundry services meet compliance, quality, and accreditation requirements.
Manage departmental budgets, including labour, cleaning, and laundry costs, ensuring budget targets and rostered hours are achieved.
Oversee the ordering, delivery, inventory control, and storage of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
Build positive relationships with residents and resident committees, responding to feedback and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
Promote and lead compliance with Bolton Clarke's Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHS&E;) policies and objectives.
Monitor performance and maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness,
and presentation across the site.
About You
Demonstrated experience in a commercial housekeeping, hotel services, or cleaning leadership role.
Strong organisational and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
Proven ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Evidence of Australian working rights.
Complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement.
