OurToowoomba teamare currently seeking an experiencedFire Alarm Technician / Electricianto join our close knit service team.... looking after our client base inthe Toowoomba and Darling Downs Region.

Earning $60+ / hour you won't be stuck behind a desk. You'll be out in the field, thinking on your feet, and building compliant fire safety systems that save lives.

Fire Alarm Technicians / Electricians undertake the following duties:-
n
n
Installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding on fire detection and fire protection systems across surface and underground infrastructure including, but not limited to, fire alarm detection systems, gas suppression systems and emergency warning systems.
n
Interface testing between fire systems and other site systems (PLC, BMS, shutdown systems).
n
Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) responsibilities, ensuring full compliance with company/site policies and procedures.
n
Ensure that all work aligns with contractual requirements and industry standards and is serviced to the highest standards.
n
Complete service activities to guarantee timely and productive completion of tasks.
n
Maintain effective communication with client representatives and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
n
Proactively identify and resolve site issues, implementing solutions and improvements to enhance overall operations.
n
Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian Standards
n
Routine testing in accordance with Australian Standards to fire protection equipment
n
Liaising with customers, establishing professional and friendly relationships
n
Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements

About You?

To be considered for this role, ideally you will need to have:

Fire industry experience
n
Required QBCC Licencing or ability to obtain
n
Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety
n
Excellent customer service and time management
n
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
n
Good personal presentation
