Play a pivotal role in strengthening risk across one of Australia's leading wealth platforms.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Partner with Line 1 teams to embed Group and Trustee Risk and Compliance Frameworks across the Wrap Platforms business.
n
Provide independent Line 2 risk oversight and constructive challenge across the end-to-end Wrap Platforms ecosystem, including Superannuation, IDPS, SMAs, MDAs and adviser oversight.
n
Review business plans, policies and Executive, Board and Committee papers, ensuring risk, governance, compliance and conflicts of interest are appropriately considered.
n
Assess the effectiveness of controls and processes to strengthen governance, manage regulatory risk and support control excellence.
n
Support the management of incidents, breaches and conflicts of interest, contributing informed judgement on regulatory obligations, reportability and appropriate remediation.
n
Contribute to incident and breach forums by providing insightful risk advice and helping drive practical, sustainable improvements.
n
Foster a strong risk culture by encouraging curiosity, constructive challenge and continuous improvement across the business.

What You'll Bring
n
n
A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
n
Strong experience within the Australian wealth management industry, with deep knowledge of Wrap Platforms, Superannuation, IDPS, SMAs, MDAs and the broader platform ecosystem.
n




A sound understanding of platform provider obligations, trustee obligations and the regulatory environment governing wealth management and superannuation.
n
Extensive experience in Operational Risk, Compliance or Enterprise Risk, with a proven ability to provide independent Line 2 oversight and constructive challenge.
n
Robust knowledge of governance frameworks, regulatory obligations and risk management practices, with experience uplifting controls and improving risk maturity.
n
A naturally curious and analytical mindset, with the confidence to ask insightful questions, influence decision-making and challenge constructively.
n
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across business, Risk and Executive teams.
n
Experience working within complex organisations undergoing transformation, providing commercially pragmatic risk advice that enables change while maintaining strong governance.
n
