The Role
n
We are seeking experienced MC Interstate Drivers based in Brisbane to join our growing team.
n
This position involves interstate transport operations, with weekly pay and additional payments for loading, unloading and other duties.
n
Rates of Pay – Paid Weekly
n
n
$0.60 per kilometre
n
$***** per load or unload
n
$***** for splitting trailers
n
$***** for additional drops, when required
n




$***** overnight allowance
n
Additional payments for washing your truck
n
Additional payments for packaged and bulk dangerous goods loading, where appropriately licensed
n
If you are held over and notified after 12:00 pm, you will be paid for the day
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Transport freight safely and efficiently to interstate destinations.
n
Select practical and time-efficient routes.
n
Complete vehicle pre-start inspections and required documentation.
n
Comply with road laws, fatigue-management requirements and company procedures.
n
Ensure vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely and in accordance with customer requirements.
n
Check that all freight is appropriately restrained in accordance with load-restraint guidelines.
n
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the allocated vehicle.
n
Communicate professionally with customers, operations staff and other drivers.
n
n
Minimum Requirements
n
n
Current MC driver's licence.
n
At least five years of interstate driving experience.
n
Strong knowledge of regulated driving hours and work-diary requirements.
n
Experience operating under NHVAS Mass and Maintenance Management requirements.
n
BFM accreditation or experience would be advantageous.
n
Dangerous goods experience and licensing would be advantageous but are not essential.
n
Solid communication skills and professional presentation.
n
A reliable, safety-focused and responsible approach to work.
n
