Senior Handyman | Immediate Start | $40-$50/hour | Vehicle and fuel provided

We are a reputable property management company providing furnished accommodation across Sydney, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Handyman to join our team and help maintain our growing portfolio of properties.
n
Our properties are fully furnished and include a range of household appliances, fixtures and fittings, so this is a hands-on and varied role suited to someone who is confident troubleshooting problems and completing a broad range of repairs independently.
n
A company vehicle and fuel will be provided for work-related travel. You must hold a valid driver's licence and have your own tools.
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
Attend maintenance requests across our properties throughout Sydney
n
Diagnose faults and carry out general repairs and maintenance
n
Repair and replace doors, locks, handles, hinges and other hardware
n
Complete minor carpentry, patching, painting and general property repairs
n
Troubleshoot and attend to furniture, fixtures and household appliances
n
Assemble, repair and replace furniture where required
n
Carry out minor plumbing-related maintenance within your level of competency
n
Identify maintenance issues requiring licensed or specialist trades and report them to management
n
Complete preventative maintenance and general property upkeep
n
Purchase or collect required maintenance materials and parts when authorised
n
Provide transparent updates, photos and reports after completing jobs
n
Maintain the company vehicle responsibly and keep tools and work areas organised
n




Communicate professionally with occupants, property managers and the ShareSorted team
n
Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
n
n
Qualifications:
n
n
Proven experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, Property Maintenance Officer or similar role
n
Strong all-round maintenance and repair skills
n
Experience troubleshooting a variety of property maintenance issues
n
Good knowledge of household fixtures, fittings, furniture and appliances
n
Ability to confidently diagnose problems and determine practical solutions
n
Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance jobs throughout the day
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
Good communication and interpersonal skills
n
Physically capable of carrying out hands-on maintenance work
n
Valid Australian driver's licence and confidence driving throughout Sydney
n
Must have your own tools
n
Relevant trade experience or qualifications will be highly regarded
n
