About the Role

Working within a busy rural hospital, you'll gain exposure across:

Emergency Department
n
Acute Inpatient Care
n
Rural Generalist Nursing
n
n
This role is ideal for nurses who are confident working autonomously and enjoy a varied clinical environment.
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Rural nursing experience
n
Emergency nursing experience
n
Advanced Life Support (ALS)
n
Basic Life Support (BLS)
n
Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Experience using ieMR
n
Knowledge of FirstNet, PowerChart and HBCIS
n
Previous Australian public health experience
n
n
Mandatory Requirements
n
n
Medication management competency
n
Manual handling
n
Infection prevention and control
n
Occupational Violence Prevention training
n
Mandatory reporting training
n
Willingness to complete any required online onboarding and electronic medical record training before commencement
