About you
n
We're looking for a confident and experienced supervisor who can lead teams, coordinate resources and deliver quality outcomes.
n
You will have:
n
n
Demonstrated supervisory experience in asbestos, sheetmetal, construction or maintenance
n
Robust leadership skills and the ability to motivate, mentor and support your team
n
The ability to effectively coordinate labour, equipment and materials
n
A strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity
n
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
n
The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, employees and stakeholders
n
Local Gladstone residency or a genuine willingness to relocate
n
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Lead and support your team to deliver safe, efficient and productive project outcomes
n
Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is completed to the required standards
n
Coordinate labour, equipment, materials and resources
n
Monitor project costs and assist in maintaining budgets
n
Develop clear and accurate scopes of work
n
Support the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion
n
Ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures and relevant legislation
n
Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships
n
Identify opportunities for improvement and drive better project outcomes
n
Promote and maintain Aestec's Zero Harm culture
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Relevant Trade Certificate – highly desirable, or solid demonstrated industry experience
n
3–5 years' experience in a supervisory role within construction, maintenance, asbestos, sheetmetal or a related industry
n
Strong understanding of project delivery and workforce coordination
n
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
n
Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills
n
A genuine commitment to safety and continuous improvement
