About the Role
n
We're seeking anElectrical Engineer – Renewablesto join our Melbourne team to support the end-to-end technical delivery ofSolar PV, battery storage (BESS), EV charging and associated electrical projects, includingdesign, pricing and bid preparation. This full-time role engages closely with both internal teams and clients across all project stages — from concept and detailed design through to construction and commissioning — ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.

What You'll Be Doing:
n
Design Solar PV, BESS and EV charging systems (kW–MW), including SLDs/schematics, sizing, and electrical calculations to relevant Australian Standards.
n
Manage grid connection activities, including DNSP
applications/approvals
and liaison with utilities and consultants.
n
Complete performance modelling and yield analysis (e.g. PVsyst or equivalent), including optimisation and
degradation/shading




inputs.
n
Produce and review technical documentation (design packs, schedules, commissioning plans, as-builts).
n
Provide engineering support through construction to commissioning (RFIs, site queries, compliance checks, testing support).
n
Support estimating, pricing and bid preparation; identify and communicate technical risks and support variations.
n
Maintain robust safety and quality outcomes in line with QA Electrical expectations.
n
What We're Looking For:
n
Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent)
n
Minimum 2-3 years experience in engineering
n
Drivers Licence (required)
n
CEC
accreditation(designer
preferred)
n
Proven experience
across:commercial/industrial
solarandgrid-connected systems
n
High-quality communication skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders (internal and external)
n
Demonstrated ability to self-manage workload, deadlines, quality and budgets
