We're partnering with a growing specialist insurer experiencing significant growth across Australia. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking two Underwriting Assistants to join their collaborative and high-performing team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career, whether you've recently graduated, have some exposure to insurance, claims, broking or customer service, or simply have a genuine interest in building a career within the insurance industry.

The Opportunity
n
As an Underwriting Assistant, you'll support a team of experienced Underwriters while learning the technical skills required to progress your career.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Supporting the underwriting team with policy administration
n
Processing quotes, renewals and endorsements
n
Responding to broker enquiries and requests
n
Maintaining accurate client and policy information
n
Learning underwriting processes, products and systems
n
Building relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders
n
Contributing to a collaborative team environment
n
n
From day one, you'll receive hands-on training and mentoring from experienced Underwriters who will help develop your technical knowledge and industry expertise.
n
About You
n
We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including:

Insurance,



claims or broking experience
n
Customer service, administration or operations roles
n
Recent graduates
n
Individuals with a rural or agricultural background
n
Candidates looking to transition into a long-term insurance career
