Profusion is working with a well renowned, market leading investment management industry leader who is looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with solid .NET development and application support experience.
n
Role Overview
n
This role will see you work collaboratively within an experienced technology team supporting and developing a range of critical enterprise applications used across the organisation.
n
You will be responsible for the ongoing functionality of core applications, combining hands‐on .NET development, application support, SQL development and technical troubleshooting.
n
The role will involve resolving production incidents and service requests, undertaking root cause analysis, developing permanent solutions and delivering enhancements across existing applications.
n
You will also analyse existing code, debug, develop queries and reports, test application changes and work closely with technology and business stakeholders.
n
Experience and skills
n
n
Sound C# / .NET development experience
n
Excellent SQL development and database skills
n
Strong commercial Application Support / Production Support experience
n
Experience developing,



debugging and supporting enterprise applications
n
.NET Framework experience
n
Web API / REST API experience
n
Microsoft Azure experience
n
Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) experience highly regarded
n
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
n
Experience managing incidents, problems and service requests
n
Experience testing application fixes and enhancements
n
Strong understanding of code change, release and deployment processes
n
Financial Services, Investments, Funds Management and/or Wealth Management experience desirable
n
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
n
