The Role & The Team
n
As a Line Leader,
you will lead an operationalteam who deliver aviation rescue firefighting services. This is a purpose-led leadership role where your decisions directly influence operational performance, safety outcomes and team culture within a critical operational environment.
n
You will work alongside experienced operational leaders and collaborate with specialists across safety, risk, finance, people and change functions. Beyond day-to-day operational leadership, you'll help deliver new initiatives, support organisational change, drive continuous improvement and build team capability.
n

You are an experienced people leader or aviation operational professional with emerging leadership skills such as the capability to influence, engage and motivate others. You bring sound judgement, resilience and a commitment to safety, performance and continuous improvement.
n
The successful applicant will have:
n
n
- Demonstrated management or leadership experience within a complex,
multi-stream or critical services operational environment
n
- Experience leading teams through change and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
n
- Demonstrated capability in safety, risk and operational performance management
n
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organisation
n
- Ability to perform effectively within dynamic and agile environments
n
- Experience working within regulated or safety-critical industries is highly regarded
n
- Tertiary qualifications in management, business or a technical field are desirable
n
