Job Description

Develop and implement communication and engagement plans supporting infrastructure project delivery and best-practice engagement principles
n
Provide strategic engagement advice to project teams, delivery partners, and business stakeholders
n
Build and maintain relationships with customers, community groups, local councils, government agencies, private landowners, and other stakeholders
n
Lead community engagement activities, information sessions, and stakeholder meetings
n
Coordinate communications materials across channels and audiences
n
Analyse community feedback to inform decision-making
n
Identify risks to customer and community experience and advocate for positive customer outcomes
n
Contribute to best-practice engagement across the organisation
n
n
Requirements
n
n
Demonstrated experience developing and delivering engagement programs for infrastructure projects
n
Strong understanding of community engagement principles
n
Understanding of diversity and inclusion practices
n
Experience working with diverse and hard-to-reach communities
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and relationship management skills
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Experience preparing content for varied audiences and channels
n
Ability to analyse engagement outcomes, identify risks, and provide strategic advice
n
Qualification in Communications or a related field
n
IAP2 certification highly regarded
n
Current Victorian driver's licence essential
n




Willingness to travel across the service region
n
Willingness to participate in occasional engagement activities outside standard hours and sometimes on weekends
n
Ability to complete pre-employment reference checks, medical assessments, and a national police check
n
Verification of working rights in Australia
n
